We visited here with our local friends and ate Cipollina and Granita for lunch, it was very tasty. The brioche with Granita is just perfect to finish the meal. I highly suggest the pistachio Granita!

Came here recently for desert with my boyfriend, we had granitas (the chocolate one especially was amazing! ), and a couple of beers. Friendly waiting staff and very reasonable prices. Thank you :)

One of the best granitas in Aci Trezza. Good variety of tastes and really good overall quality. The facility is not amazing, but decent. If you want a good Granita is definitely the place to go.

Gran Cafè Solaire has hands down the best granita I’ve ever tasted. tried the pistachio, gelsi (mulberry), and cantaloupe granita at Gran Cafè Solaire — and loved them all! Each one was packed with real flavor, perfectly smooth, and refreshing. The pistachio was rich and creamy, the gelsi tart and fruity, and the cantaloupe light and sweet. Paired with a warm brioche, it was absolute perfection.

Fantastic place, with very affordable prices and with numerous dishes on the menu. Our arancini were delicious, we got some free water (which is not very common in other places) and the staff was nice and helpfull. Not too crowded hence it is great for a calm breakfast, lunch or whatever you are having ;)

A low key little spot. Nice views of the ocean and fantastic pastries, aranchini. Nice house wines and a good place to have a sit and watch the world go by as you fill your face!

We’ve been to this café during out vacation, and it was hands down the absolute best ice cream that I have ever eaten in my life! I crave it every day and I will definitely go back next summer ! The service was okay but the people there do not speak English. We figured it out somehow and it was okay! But beware prepared with a google translate app if you do not speak italian! Overall amazing oplace, definitely visit it if you come to Aci Castello!
